“Over the past 12 months, I have been working to bring my dream alive of starting my own Dog Daycare business. This can be a very daunting thing to do as I did not have any business ownership background before this. I had always admired the way Matty ran his businesses and had also worked as part of his team, he was always willing to offer support of any kind.

I explained to Matty that I was getting a bit overwhelmed with trying to plan for the new business, with everything going around in my head and so much to do. He offered to mentor me to help get all the ideas and tasks out of my head and onto paper for a start. We had multiple sessions where he would ask a lot of great questions about the business to first make sure it would be viable. He then started pulling all the ideas and tasks that were going around in my head and putting them onto paper, creating goals and deadlines for each task. Along the way Matty was able to draw down on his own business ownership experience to provide insight for some of the considerations I needed to make for my business, which was incredibly valuable.

Throughout working with Matty he has helped to keep me on track and focused on each goal/task at a time which helped to reduce that feeling of being overwhelmed. He regularly checks in to ensure everything is going ok and is always there to support me or to bounce ideas off. Starting from a place of feeling very lost before I started working with Matty to now feeling confident in what I am doing, I will forever be in debt to him for what he has done for me and my business.
